3 node opensearch cluster fails to configure TLS #421

Steps to reproduce

  1. Deploy 3 units of opensearch from the CA rotation branch.
  2. Deploy manual-tls-certificates.
  3. Integrate the charms.
  4. Provide certificates from manual-tls-certificates.

Expected behavior

TLS is configured and the nodes go to active state.

Actual behavior

image A few nodes (sometimes one sometimes 2) fail to configure TLS.

Versions

Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

Juju CLI: 3.5.3-genericlinux-amd64

Juju agent: 3.5.3

Charm revision: DPE-4656-implement-CA-replacement-routine

LXD: 5.21.2 LTS

Log output

Juju debug log: For a couple of tries: tls_error_logs.txt tls_error_logs_1.txt

Additional context

This does not happen using the main branch.
