Allow customization of the supported Linux distributions list

Hello Team,

I'd like to propose adding an option to specify Linux distributions supported by a snap. Currently at the bottom of the snap's page in snap store, there's a default list of Linux distributions, which doesn't necessarily have to correspond to what's actually supported. Perhaps this could be implemented as another section in snap's Listing tab in Developer account? Technical possibility to that should be there as some snaps (like violin-player) already have custom Raspberry Pi distribution mentioned.

Thanks for the idea @Gmerold. We'll add this to our backlog. Unfortunately, to get this working would be quite a large cross-team endeavour as we (the web team) have currently hardcoded the distributions – they're not generated from any QA data. As such, this won't be a quick short-term implementation!
