Reported by suamor on 2011-10-28 14:31 UTC Closed-source software represents majority in music score editing applications. Solutions like Finalemusic Finale and Sibeliusmusic Sibelius hold back competition and healthy evolution of music score applications.

Canorus should become a number 1 in music score editing solutions. Free software, community, cooperation between music professors, students, composers, musicians, computer engineers and developers should make this happen.

This bug will always be opened.

I'd say when we have a stable version working quite well (maybe 0.8 or 0.9) we should really start making advertisements on larger music sites. I make my own on the forums I joined but these are not that many (some do not allow links in signatures)
