How to use a 3rd Party Consent Management Platform #281

We are using a Google Certified 3rd Party CMP. The docs state that these are currently not supported. We are currently using 5.0.0 and activate this library based on the consent given by users. Is this still possible with 5.1.1 or can't we update until 3rd party CMPs are implemented?
