@kerensoref Postponed for now, we'll tackle the "group" dashboard and inner pages first.

Thanks. The top section of the first image looks great. We'll discuss the other elements via phone.

(btw, just to clarify for others, the design was almost finished by the time we decided to postpone)

The Blurb on V1 is nicer, The V&V highlight is nice on V2, can it auto rotate on its ow? V1 offers more options for users to read them all though...+ I like the dual column layout the problem now though is that the homepage carousel is normally the only place we have to promote content from elsewhere on the platform that is not a V&V - here we miss that... For upcoming events, two will not be enough... there are often many events and some which overlap. This brings me to another point to be dealt with under the calendar - how to avoid one event posted in several groups appearing several times?

to be discussed in tomorrow's meeting (and only as secondary to Chris & Paul)

Discussion Box ▫ The page appears to be viewed by a public visitor – should the discussion box be visible to them knowing they cannot contribute content? ▫ How do the filters ‘budget’ and ‘type of website’ apply to this container? ▫ These drop-down filters are nice here because there are few, but what happens when there are many? Does the menu continue expanding below? Is there a limit? ▫ I still find that the dual icon sets might be confusing for users – are these the only ones that will appear? Will they change (if any) for documents and events? V&V container ▫ When the user selects “read all”, is he/she directed to a new page inside the group with a list of relevant V&V’s? Or an expanded view? How does this work? ▫ When the user selects “continue reading”, is he/she directed to the detailed V&V page that lives outside the group? ▫ When the user closes this box, it disappears until the page is reloaded? Group Description container ▫ I take it this is the logo for the EU group we have today. Placing the EC next to the group type after a comma looks awkward... does this then mean this is an EU group with EC content that could be restricted? An EU group that is also accessible to EC staff? Are we not using EC/EEAS anymore? Highlights ▫ How many items that can be posted here? Does this container disappear if no content is highlighted? Discussion Thread ▫ There is no title; is this intentional? ▫ The fact that the icons are greyscale might later cause confusion: EU and EC are already there, but GIZ is one of the 24 member organisations (CAPFDEV-119) that might be added later. If/when this happens; the grey scale will not be enough. ▫ In the second entry, the greyscale icon appears beneath the comment, which could lead to confusion – does Keren or Bob belong to GIZ? Only one icon is used when there are two users ▫ Again in the second entry, the comment and discussion were both added at the same time and date – it makes it really confusing to understand which activity is being highlighted: the discussion or the comment? In principle, they should be posted at different times... although a link between the two should be apparent to understand they are linked, the two displayed as they are is confusing...
Twitter Feed ▫ I guess this an optional active stream embed field? ▫ What else can it be used for? ▫ When nothing is added, does the container disappear? Footer ▫ We are missing the “about us” link ▫ Great to have a FAQ – but we are missing the “help & guidance” section ▫ The written links without icons are not complete. We are missing projects and regions for example.

Looks good, let's just make this link like the ones before it and distribute equally

Next is making sure this sits on the Bootstrap grid with the correct width (1170px)

@kerensoref can you try and place those elements to be more grid friendly?

_design__homepage_for_anon_user__issue__116__capacity4dev_capacity4more-4

After that we can continue to the next pages.

Hi @kerensoref Could you please post a dropbox link for the final PSD files. ("homepage for anon user" alone if the rest are not finished.) Thanks.

The capacity4dev logo should not be changed: it is the visual identity of capacity4dev. The word "capacity4dev" is always written in lowercase.

Is it allowed to have only the EU flag in the header? The EU flag has not the correct blue & yellow color! See http://europa.eu/about-eu/basic-information/symbols/flag/index_en.htm

capacity4dev is part of the European Commission, the commission has another logo (abstract visualisation of the Berlaymont building).
