Fixes missing test #77

@gregcaporaso - this is an urgent but simple merge. The gibbs function had algorithmic parameter validation (alpha1 etc.) but did not actually have the data validation (sources or sinks). This PR fixes that and adds tests of the gibbs function so that this couldn't be missed again.
