This page is dedicated to all the people who ever applied for a software patent:

Go fuck yourselves all y'all sonsabitches!

Leaving aside the question of what a moral disaster the whole IP law is, it seems to me that the US Patent office grants a patent to anyone who shows up at their door with anything that has words and drawings in it. After all, that's how they stay in business. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "method and aplication of circular device used for transportation" in their catalog somewhere and that it's owned by Disney.

Dedicated to SketchUp programmers Brad Schell & Joe Esch who apparently invented the idea of putting together snapping and extrusion in the same 3D modelling program and who hold a patent on that highly original innovation. Luckily, the patent expires in 2021.

Dedicated to Jeff Bezos who patented a web button that when you click it, you buy the product displayed on the web page, an innovation so profound that the state decided that for 18 years straight only he should have the right to put such a button on a website. That guy's such an innovator that he even tried to patent reusable rockets, and it took an entire team of federal judges to convince him that he wasn't the first to think of the idea. You can't make this shit up.
