More dynamic front page #145

The front page is very static, with only hand curated content

Are there ways to make this more dynamic?

The dynamic parts of BCB are limited to whatever content is being put out there.

The blog has recently been given some life which is great, tho the newsletter has fallen sideways. Social media sites, specifically Twitter seems to have some engagement there but overall, the digital heartbeat of BCB as an organisation is low as we don't really have a dedicated media person to push this out as often.

However, I wonder if we could possibly randomly rotate a programme feature / newsletter piece / blog post every 3 days or so on the front page. We could also push the Twitter feed further up as an option.

If we can randomly rotate blog posts on the front page, this could make it more dynamic. We will need to create blog posts for programme pages, we can start with the main shows; ie. Drive, About Bradford, Electric Breakfast, Round Table, etc.

Then maybe look at blog posts about the main sections with links to the visit them; ie. Projects, People, Get Involved, etc.

I think it would be great to have these pages fully fleshed out as well - photos, interviews, videos, links, etc.

It would also be good to consider what sort of content BCB would like to display on the front page; ie. what message we want to convey as an organisation.
