Embed Audio in Web page #155

I think we have two approaches at the moment.

One is to upload the audio via wordpress and insert the media in a wordpress way.

The other is to host the media/audio at archive.org https://archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A%22BCB106.6FM%22

@notshi - no rush, but could you document that. Do you need to share passwords or set up other accounts to access it? (e.g. if we had to remove something in a hurry (not that we need to yet!))

Currently, all audio has been uploaded using my personal account so it won't be ideal to share passwords that way.

Anyone can credit a media (audio / video, etc) to a 'creator' so it doesn't need to belong to the user that uploaded the media. In a way, that's great because my account name is not displayed on those media pages. However, that also means anyone can upload anything and say it is created by BCB106.6FM

Using your search result as an example, only one of those uploads isn't by me so I can't remove it if it needs to be.

So at the moment, if you need to remove something - you'd have to let me know.

What I should do, really, is create a new account for BCB and share the login with you for future uploads! What do you think? @caprenter

Thanks for this - it's just good to know how it works.

A BCB account seems like a sensible way forward if that suits you?

Will create a BCB account and upload with that account when we do the next 'event'.
