She Talks - The rest of March

They are working on an assumption(?) that you will be able to do a weekly update (on a Monday) to the She Talks page - please only do what you have capacity to do and are willing to do! Feel free to pass the tasks back to me!

Mary mentioned that they were also sending me the audio - is this still happening?

Downloading the audio is probably one of the most time consuming part of this process as I have to sift through the Listen Again page and check if there are any audio available for a certain programme first. Sometimes, a programme gets cut off and I have to stitch it with another download if that is available. Most programmes just need trimming at both ends.

So if you can pass this on, that would certainly be much appreciated and makes the process easier for me.

Also, yes, Monday weekly updates is what I aim for, thank you!

Have removed listen again links for 3 programmes, per Mary's email. Will need help with the following as they are not in the google doc.

Received links to the above folders, including working Google doc. Renamed all MP3 so that they look presentable on archive.org, fix typo, check with names in doc. Start checking audio with programmes listed to make sure they tally. Received 8 audio for She Talks Shorts (Missing 3) Received 9 audio for She Talks Programmes (Missing 4 audio and 3 descriptions)

Looks like none of the 8th March programmes are in the folders so I'll have to manually download those myself.

Downloaded all 20 programmes from Listen Again website for 8th March Trim & stitch where necessary, rename add metadata for all 20 programmes FYI, this is an example of the metadata

I'm a little unclear now as to how to read this thread, and how to work out what is outstanding. Is https://github.com/caprenter/bcb-website/issues/161#issuecomment-799441967 the definitive list of 'what you need' or do I need to work down the thread and gather everything? (Starting at https://github.com/caprenter/bcb-website/issues/161#issuecomment-799355652 ?)

As an aside - the listen again/Audacity mp3 issue is a new one for me -I've created a ticket for it #162. If you can link to an example where it happens, I'd be happy to investigate

I've already downloaded the audio from the drives and looked through the Google doc, mostly the changes. There might still be missing audio from the list but will need looking through with a fine tooth comb to be completely sure.
