Database cache

Things to try:

• [ ] clear caches and see how the archive grows
• [ ] Reduce the views caching on the advanced map search
• [ ] set limits on the cache size in settings.php

I've cleared all caches just now. Will see how big the db is tomorrow.

The cache clearing between 12th and 13th seems to have had a significant effect on reducing the size of the incremental back up

Today I've turned off 'Tag Based' caching on the Advanced Incident Search view: https://www.lamrt.org.uk/admin/structure/views/view/incidents/edit/page_4

I also cleared the cache.

I'm hoping the future incremental backups will be smaller again

So the following day the incremental shrank to 42Mb

I think I need to: Investigate the database files again - see if it cache files that are growing. I think cron gets run hourly or when someone visits if there has been a long time between visits. I think that may be building cron/search index or something

Database was up to 4GB again today, so still not really sure what's going on. Clearing the cache took the size of the whole site down from 4.9GB to 1.5GB
