This is probably a bug of Pandora. Does it work with normal phone calls?
Sipdroid
broadcasts phone state intents that pause the built-in music player.
However I also noticed the app "Missed Call" to be incompatible/not detect
Sipdroid
calls properly.

Thanks again for the quick response.
Unfortunately, the problem also occurs with the native Music app, as well as
TuneWiki.
It seems like this is another 2.0/Droid compatibility issue. This problem does
not
occur when receiving calls over Verizon's cellular network. It only occurs with
Sipdroid.

Sipdroid can only broadcast its call states as intents. If an app uses a
PhoneStateListener instead of registering for receiving the intents it won't
work. The
native Music app used to listen for the intents and worked properly on 1.6.

Sipdroid 1.2.2 will again pause at least the built-in Music app.

I just upgraded to 1.2.3 from 1.2.1 and I can report that music is indeed
paused
perfectly when a call comes in (the built-in Music app). Thank you! Great work.

Please consider reopening this defect. I'm using a Moto Droid w/ firmware
2.1update1, and SIPdroid 1.4.6. SIPdroid calls pause the native music player,
and
resume it afterwards, as one would expect. However, if the music player was
already
paused, or completed a playlist, SIPdroid starts it at the end of the call.
Along the same lines, when playing a podcast with Google Listen, SIPdroid
lowers its
volume, but does not pause it. Also, with iHeartRadio, SIPdroid fails to mute
the
radio stream. The main phone app does pause Google Listen, and mute
iHeartRadio.

On HTC Desire firmware 2.1update1, sipdroid 1.4.7 does not pause music player on
incoming call (native phone does).

Same on Nexus One with the latest 2.1 firmware.

Version 1.5.2 is better. It mutes the player so at least it is possible to talk
when a call arrives. However, I think that it does it wrong: sipdroid mutes the
player but does not pause it, so when the call is over and the player is
un-muted you find that you missed a chunk of the audiobook and have to rewind
it.

Issue 646 has been merged into this issue.

I am using 1.6.1 but having the same issue still. I didn't have this issue
when I at first installed. After a week or so (perhaps because I installed
some volume control, but I tried uninstalling them), this issue started to come
up. When I make call, the music volume drops a bit for a few seconds and then
return to normal. Any idea what I could try? Thx.

This bug is still present after more than ONE YEAR!!
I use a Samsung Galaxy S. The stock music app works fine thankfully. But other
music apps I've tried don't. The music gets redirected to the back speaker (the
loud one, not the earpiece) when the phone starts ringing. If this is a problem
with the third party music apps could you please advise here what they need to
change so the music gets paused properly!? I have tried PowerAMP and MixZing
thus far.
Thanks a lot

I'm having the issue with my Nexus S when playing Pandora and Player Pro. The
new Google Music 3.0 does pause.
