What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Register using pbxes account using TCP.
2. Wait a while.
3. There is a *possibility* that poor signal might contribute to the INITIAL
registration failure, but subsequent attempts also fail, regardless of signal
strength.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Further attempts to register should be successful as long as the network is
operational. Instead, it fails to register indefinitely until the program is
exited and restarted, at which point it works normally. UDP works normal, but
has other drawbacks.
What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
1.6.1 HTC DREAM using HTC/Tmobile MAGIC 32B froyo2.2 (including radio and
slightly hacked SPL for access to additional 15 MB ram made available).
Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
Fail to register over TCP.
Which type of network are you using?
UMTS, Wifi/Cable, Wifi/Wimax-ish, all three are provided by different
companies... Globalive/Windmobile UMTS, teksavvy wifi/cable, rogers
wifi/wimax-ish.
Please provide any additional information below.
Using pbxes account, any port, any ISP, using TCP. Upon startup, registration
is successful. After some random amount of time, registration will fail (red
dot), it will attempt to register again (yellow dot), and time out (red dot).
It will never register again until sipdroid is EXITED and RESTARTED. It will
immediately work properly afterwards.
