I have tried several CD images of the game but it doesn't work. Is it possible to get it working with some configuration?

I did some research and it seems to have stopped working since v20230420. It works on v20230113.

@captainys Another problem is that the CD-DA playback tracks are misaligned. For example, Track 2 (voices) is played instead of Track 3 (bgm) in the opening. This is from a much earlier version.

Ah, ok. Let me work on it. Shadow of the Beast 2 uses CD-ROM I/O very strange way, and took a while to make it work. As far as I remember, it let CD-ROM command timeout, and did nothing to clear the error. Not surprising at all if some changes broke it.

OK. I figured. Shadow of the Beast 2 checks PCM recording is working. I'm wondering if it is monitoring microphone, and does something differently if you shout into the microphone. Anyway, it will run in the next release. Also, make sure to select memory size 4MB. At least I confirmed that it does not run if the memory size is 16MB. I works with 4MB RAM.
