Hover on global map #110

Can we set the hover to not replace the 'select country', because then people may miss the fact that you can select countries also there.

Ideally, the hover is near the mouse rather than at the top of the map.

I vaguely recall hover near mouse was more challenging. Given the amount of issues you created, I'd say this one is not critical for the release.
