5 years ago There's an updated file uploader coming in our August release that includes drag and drop functionality as well as a "add another" type of functionality.
You can see the PR here https://github.com/carbon-design-system/carbon/pull/3175 and more specs and discussion in this older PR. Is this something that could meet the "add another" request?
It's hard to interpret what the lower mockups are showing. Is there an example of this in a flow or more descriptions around what it's showing?
As part of the Watson IoT Enterprise Design System effort, we have created a compound component which is used to add multiple items, one after another, either as a single field or a set of fields. We would like to submit this as a standard form input component for the common case of adding multiple files or attachments.
