User Story

As a DDS website designer

I need to: review the user pain points currently existed for the v19a website

so that I can: spot any consistent pain point patterns similar from the IDL and Carbon adoptors.

Additional information

Need to talk to IDL and Carbon teams to find out the pain points.
Find out Ben if he is doing user testing on Carbon website yet?

Acceptance criteria

[ ] Have a clear idea on what we need to keep and what we need to retire from the content perspective.

On Aug 08, chsanche commented: @spbokma I think we should review this along with the adopter feedback from the # 1421. If we can get the feedback session done sooner then I will move this issue to Sprint 16.

Reached out to the Carbon and IDL team to see if there's any documents or resources that can help us learn more about the adopter pain points and both teams have nothing around adopter pain points to share.
Reached out to Ben to see if he has any plans set up for user testing on the Carbon website. He mentioned all the interviews he has been doing already considered both Carbon and DDS websites. We need to think as an integrated unit, but we don’t have the backing of management nor the teams to do that work yet and it will be for the future work.

Let me know if you have any questions after you have a chance to review them.

On Sep 10, spbokma commented: I've added next steps comments to the DDS Pain Points Summary.xlsx (https://ibm.box.com/s/sumbzy3y8jcgfk1tf7xuw6rtxyovtg8z) in the "notes" column with "**" at the beginning of the comment.

We'll address content/informational issues when we work on the single page template for the site.

Search needs to be looked at from both DDS & Carbon to make sure we are both specing/building towards the same outcome or all work will need to be re-done when the two sites merge.
