For the Carbon v11 Coverage Figma plugin, we identified the need for designers to hide/ignore/mark accepted any non-relevant issues that surfaced in the plugin.
From our research, we found design leads may prefer less ‘hide’ or ‘ignore’ language and more acknowledging. For example, framing this as putting the issue in their exception list.
User should be able to access a list of items that are set to hidden. "If I’m reviewing a file, I want to see a list of my exceptions."
Maybe framing like ‘vouch for’ or ‘mark as exception’.
