"- Decide wether to print frame timing or not"
Sure, that would be easy
"- Choose the time separating each frame"
Mmmh, why not. For now it's using the number of rows and columns. How would
you like to handle it if there isn't enough frames ? For example if, on a
video, getting
a frame every 10 minutes fives 7 frames... It's missing one to get a nice
rectangle
right? :P
"- make a figure with all key frames"
Not sure exactly what you mean? :)

Hi,
sorry for not following-up earlier.

Yes, I would accept to not have a complete rectangle then :-)

Let me tel you why I think your tool is great for my work. I a doing research i
cell biology. We do time-lapse
imaging of living cells. For example, I image a cell every 5 seconds (this can
be also in the order of every
minute or every hour). Say I do it for 2 minutes, I get 24 frames. I assemble
Quicktime movie that I
accelerate so that I can study it. For example, I accelerate it 10 times, so
the movie only last 12 seconds. The
problem we face is that it is not easy to keep a trace of the movie in your
notebook, or to make a figure that
can be published. One has to take each frame, a create a figure. Using your
soft, I would then be able to make
a figure in a snap. The best would be to be able to ask for
- A figure with col x row frames (that you already implemented)
- A figure showing all the frames of the movie, or only half, or one out of
ten.. etc..
- To set-up the proper timing indicating to the soft what the actual timing
between each frame is.
I have attached an example of what I did using Skreenics
Please, do not hesitate to ask more if i was unclear,
thanks for developing Skreenics,
Best,
Franck
PS:thinking more, I think it would be great to be able to do the same starting
from a folder of Tiff or jpeg
images instead of a movie.
