add default thumbnails

this PR enhances the visuals of teh dataset card with the catalog. more specifically, i added the following features:

• each dataset card's thumbnail is now set to a default image from a set of fallback images, to cater for datasets that do not have thumbnail.

• the color for the overlay thumbnail of each card is now chosen based on the index

these changes follow the same concept that we previously used in pangeo-forge.org

Love the preview. Did the Aviso data get replaced or id the picture just desaturated? If the latter I am wondering if we want to show the full colorful images or keep them desaturated (would give a much cleaner look). But either way this is great progress! Thanks

the image is overlaid with a semi-transparent colored box, and here's what the catalog looks like without the overlaid colored box.

If the latter I am wondering if we want to show the full colorful images or keep them desaturated (would give a much cleaner look)

the color tint overlaying the grayscale image provides a much cleaner and visually consistent experience
