Hi, I need to install Smart Card Browser Plugin on a Windows 10 machine. Please tell me which installer should I use. I tried webcard.msi and it aborts immediately upon execution. Thanks in advance for your help.

Same goes to me as well. Seems the installer does not support the OS

Hi @changuna, @imkhairulikhwan, could you tell me a bit more about your use cases? I'm working on updates but I want to understand who uses the plugin and what for.

Hi @cheburashka, I would like to use the functionalities to read the smart card using web. When I tried to open WebCard.html, it has the message "For this page to work you need to install Webcard for Windows or for Mac OS X". So, I clicked on the link and downloaded it. However, after running msi file, it just aborted immediately after that.

@imkhairulikhwan had the same problem here when trying to open the sample with Edge. It works OK with Internet Explorer in Windows 10.

I've not invested time on this since nobody seems to be using this beyond little testing. Can you show me some page in production that you plan to use this in to get some motivation to work on it? Or tell me more about your use case?

When I open webcard.html (after install webcard.msi) nothing happen. My smart card reader is SDI011, BTW how do I check webcard.msi was installed successful.

@cheburashka: we are using this plugin to read the SSI number from a belgian eid and are integrating this with SAP CRM. Are you still working on supporting other browsers? I'm thinking edge or chrome?
