Migrate to null safety #8

Uses #7 and adds travis configuration and fixes a test failure.

Hi @hpoul - Unfortunately this PR now has a merge conflict after I merged #7. If you could address the conflict I'll merge this and release to pub.dev

@MichaelMarner this PR actually was exactly the same as #7 just with fixed travis config and a minor fix in the test. should be merged now.

That's what I thought but Github was telling me there was a conflict. Anyway merged now and I'll publish to pub.dev this morning. Thanks for the contribution!
