TLC #270

Some things I started last think day, just some minor TLC:

remove Travis support for ruby 2.0 since our version of Nokogiri doesn't jive with 2.0 (helps with #269)
remove the old 'specsmoke' smoke test stuff since it never worked and had a bunch of old IDs that would need to be replaced
rephrase README around versions and things
