The Calibration GUI is running in a non-intuitive way. Background is only removed for detection of the calibration object if the "Display background" option is ticked off.
Split-line display may be broken.
For some matlab versions checking for VIdeoReader input type is also broken.

Disabling irrelevant GUI options if no video is present.
Enable GUI resizing
Chage "Display backgournd" to "Use background" to be clear about the effect of the option. Consider if supporting detections without removing the background make sense.
I suggest the calibration to always work on the background-subtracted data, and the 'display background' to change to 'subtract background' (reversed functionality and only for display).
