Looks good in general! Two small notes. I would suggest to merge this only once we know all the pieces work together (in SK).

agree. I had to sync the repo though in order to to an integration test - which I'm on right now

Couldn't you just take the DEB files and install them with dpkg -i? Why is syncing the repo needed?

I could but it's a lot of intertwined DEBs and I'm lazy :)

As discussed let's see if it works with this commented out.
