Does the CARLA Simulator Headless work well enough development? #2159

Hello, experts.

I'm trying to set up Carla simulator headless server to study for my self. So, I'm considering to make a simple autonomous driving system and utils helping develop autonomous driving system.

Does the CARLA Simulator Headless work well enough development?

You can see my issue #2102 on this repository. I used AWS EC2 ubuntu 16.04 Server AMI and p3.2xlarge type of instance.

Does that's issue(#2102) depend on performance like AWS region or instance type? What is the Headless program designed for?

I would like to ask your advices. Thanks.

I got a result after configure Carla headless on the ec2 instance. I uploaded the video on youtube.

I think that carla headless is not good enough to develop application requiring high computing performance with visualization. But, there is a chance to automate some scenario tests or record sensor's data for acquirement.

If there are other ways to run carla headless better than my result, please suggest it.
