How to integrate pedestrain while using SUMO co-simulation? #6300

I am using SUMO co-simulation to do some research, by now the scripts in Co-Simulation/Sumo are only support the sync of vehicle. In CARLA Talks 2020, it was said that Carla will support pedestrain co-simulation in future. And i wannna know if it will support this feature in soon, or how can i implement this feature?
