Hard reboot -> sluggish performance until manual repeat reboot

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use phone for a while... it may become a tad sluggish and suddenly restart. 
seems quite random but does not occur for a while after initial boot or normal 
reboot.
2. at boot, phone very slow, sluggish. is usable but IMO seems it is more 
likely to crash again in this state.
3. manually reboot phone and it is back to normal. for a while of course.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
most recently CM 10.1 nightly 7/11 and confirmed had a reboot today on the 
nightly.

Finally triggered a reboot. I was walking home while listening to Google Play 
Music when it suddenly rebooted and upon restarting it was indeed sluggish.

I had a reboot today while sitting at my desk and pulled a last_kmsg right 
afterwards. I hope it helps fix this niggling issue!
