Temporary freezes with 3.4 kernel on evita

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Reboot phone
2. Play Jetpack Joyride or Osmos HD
3. Wait until device freezes (for a few seconds)

What is the expected output?
Smooth, uninterrupted usage/gameplay

What do you see instead?
The device freezes for a few (10 to 15, maybe?) seconds. This may happen 
multiple times after a single reboot.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Many, if not all, nightlies since the kernel upgrade, including 20130721.

Please provide any additional information below.

It seems to occur most frequently after a reboot, and happens a few minutes 
after beginning gameplay. Once it starts, it keeps doing it (I suppose until it 
cools off or recovers from whatever is happening).

I'm not sure that it only happens during games, but that is only when I've 
noticed it.
