Notification LED is unreliable #28

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Receive a Notification from an app configured to flash the Notification LED

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that the Notification LED flashes on receiving the
notification. Actual result is that the LED is unreliable at best and flashes
for certain things (SMS messages) but not others. A large majority of the
time, it does not flash as expected.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC One X running CM10, Milestone 8/19/12

It's worth noting that manually setting per-app notifications seems to work
fine.

Fixed by changing color and duration in settings.

Richard's work round seems to work for me.

This is necessary to for the LED notification to work. You must set it up on an
app-by-app basis.
