phonecalls do not work with a headphones/mic combo #71

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. plug in headphones with a mic
2. attempt to make a call
3. unplug headphones and attempt to make a call, sound is still broken.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
when I plug in my headphones I should hear the person talking and should be
able to talk to them through the embedded mic. If I unplug the headphones I
should be able to make calls normally. Currently, the sound breaks and I have
to reboot to get regular functionality back.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
10-20120828-EXPERIMENTAL-evita

Please provide any additional information below.
I have an ATT HTC ONE XL. I came from 4.03 Clean ROM to an earlier cm10 build
with a factory wipe, and then wiped the cache and davlik cache before
installing the latest experimental build.

I have the exact same issue, same everything.

I also noticed that this happens sometimes when Apollo is running and not just
for the headphone / mic combo if that helps.

Same issue here, but it's not just phone calls. If you play audio (apollo,
power amp etc) with the phone speaker it works, if you plug in a headset it
works still, but when you unplug the headset, the audio breaks, for music, in
call, etc. That's how I duplicated the error.

My most frequent use case is listening to a podcast (Pocket Casts) when I need
to place or receive a call while driving. Same issue as described using 9/01
Nightly.

This is fixed (headphones w/mic and without). Hoping this will make it into the
next nightly. Thanks for reporting everyone!
