From Brilliance :
tint,
colorize,
brighten,
darken,
mix,
average smear,
random color,
negate,
dither

Other ideas maybe ?

As I understand it...

Tint converts the image to grayscale and applies the colorbalance

Colorize directly applies the colorbalance

(As luck would have it, I've written script that does just this..and is more
advanced than the Brilliance functions :D )
