Content

Joe Sanders has the most beautiful garden in our town. Nearly everybody enters for[^1] 'The Nicest Graden Competition' each year, but Joe wins every time. Bill Frith's garden is larger than Joe's. Bill works harder than Joe and grows more flowers and vegetables, but Joe's garden is more interesting. He has made neat[^2] paths and has built a wooden bridge over a pool. I like gardens too, but I did not like hard work. Every year I enter for the garden competition too, and I always win a little prize for the worst garden in the town!

[^1]: enter for 参加(竞赛,活动等);报名参加(比赛) / take part in / join / attend / participate in / go in for / enter into [^2]: neat = tidy

例如,"beautiful"变为"more beautiful"(更美丽的),"interesting"变为"more interesting"(更有趣的)。

He works harder than her."(他工作比她更努力。)

His garden is more interesting.",如果这是用于比较,应该有比较的对象,比如"His garden is more interesting than his neighbor's."(他的花园比邻居的更有趣。)
