Congrats on launching this project, looks cool, I think the idea behind is great, but I'm not sure if it will bring more contributions to this project
I would like to maintain the small ad on the top, even though almost everyone is using AdBlockers it makes enough money to cover the domain costs so I'm happy with this. It's not intrusive, easy to block if you want to and doesn't track anything.
In case you want to support 💸 the project, you have a big Sponsor button at the top of the repo where you will be able to support it, also you have GitHub sponsors in case you want to do it on a monthly basis!

Like many people I'm sure, I've been using https://gitmoji.dev almost everyday. Since I run an ad blocker, I would love to have another easy way to support the project everytime I use it.
I've been seeing a lot of dev project using Zink for that. It's a small widget that sits on the website and let visitor tip a few cents in one click (see below). Another option is buymeacoffee.com which is more popular but not as easy to use (visitor are redirected to another page and needs to enter their credit card info every time).
