any status?

Same here :sob:

Because of this I just decided to make my own build that works meanwhile, chekout my own homebrew here if you'd need Figma up and running without buildning it from the source by yourself.

What do you mean by not binding? And does your build support local font

jackbillstrom commented 5 years ago

@hezral What I meant with not building it from the source by yourself is that I just wanted a fast fix to "get past the update dialog".

Currently running it on my Ubuntu machine (18.04 x64) and local fonts works like a charm.

Please let me know if local fonts would be an issue, and as well as your Linux distro & version.

Cool. I'll test it out.

hezral commented 5 years ago

Just tested it out, there are some spacing issues on left and right and also its not using the GTK window decorations, though i kinda like it that way but there's no close, min, max button.

i'm on elementary OS 5 Juno

@hezral I've noticed this as well, will be looking into this during the weekend.

But I'm quite used to using Alt + Spacebar (for those who don't know to manage their borderless window)

carloslfu commented 5 years ago

Updated release here. Thanks @jackbillstrom and @hezral.

vrumger commented 5 years ago

@carloslfu thanks.

hezral commented 5 years ago

Awesome, will check when i get home.

s-rd commented 5 years ago

@carloslfu Tested it now, but it still has the white lines on the sides. Works great though, anyway :)

Same here. Was there a change on how the app is compiled? it used to have the window decorations before but now it's just the app frame. Still usable, just wondering what changed.
