Here's the follow up email that was sent after the dinner. This serves as a recap of where we are:

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the delayed email, time flew by. Below you'll find a summary of our last dinner as it relates to the volunteer database project.

tl;dr: Your feedback is needed — please send it before next Friday (the 20th). Organizations will get access to the platform once the project has been transitioned to CSNYC.

Current state of the volunteer database project We have a working prototype that's almost ready for public use. The goal of the platform is to:

• Collect the email address of potential volunteers
• Allow organizations to find volunteers for their events

Key dinner takeaways

• The registration process will not happen on this site (for people attending or volunteering)
• The platform should do everything it can to capture the email address of potential volunteers (that's our KPI)
• Organizations will be able to find volunteers by filtering the database based on the data captured when volunteers signed up

• Transition the project to CSNYC

• Grant everyone access to the platform
• Integrate with NYTM
