"not much OF an issue", etc. #149

How to analyze OF in these constructions? Is it quantity/degree-related?

Cf. in comparative/negative contexts: "not that good OF a review", "too big OF a threat" (#9).

For now, going with Gestalt for "much OF an issue" and "less OF a conflict".

The examples given are much, less, and more, but I take it this is the construction that licenses too big of a deal etc. For the version without OF—too big a deal—see p. 551.
