This seems like it should be straightforward, but we had differing intuitions about whether it's more Locus or Direction (or a combination thereof), and there aren't similar uses of AHEAD_OF in the guidelines.

Do you interpret this as referring to a place, or a path of motion (he would go straight ahead of him)?

I think I see it more as a path/direction, but there wasn't consensus among the annotators on that.
