What does multiple signatures mean? #35

I input 20 genes in a single gene.set that were the result of an analysis of differential gene experssion within a sigle cell type and I obtained 20 different signatures, while from a table of many different gene sets, I obtained a signature list per gene.set.

Just trying to learn more about this tool and wondering why there are many signatures and if possible to consolidate into one.

Figured that my gene.set list was not a list but 20 "lists" like if each gene was a list.
