New feature support

Hi.

I was wondering if there was going to be support for these features soon?

• Less configuration/more magic
• Better error handling
• Use IOHelper for file operations
• Use storage directory for thumbnails instead of public directory
• Support for S3, Rackspace Cloud Files, and Google Cloud Storage

@zizther I'm not using Craft at all anymore (it's great, I just had a job change), so I'm not actively developing this plugin.

I'm happy to accept pull requests for any features you'd like to see added!
