Master stays

The end result is that we have master, production, and V1 (legacy).

removed the gh_pages branch, cleaned up a justthedocs related pr.

V2 branch was merged into production and a new release was created: https://github.com/carnival-data/carnival/releases/tag/v2.1.0 V2 branch was then tagged as archive_V2 and deleted. Can be retrieved via tag if necessary.
