Allow calendar queries based on extended properties (esp. uid) #444

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to retrieve an event based on uid
2. try to delete an event based on uid

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using?
1.2.4

Please provide any additional information below.
This is an enhancement bug. gdata-python-client would be much more flexible as
an interface for other calendaring tools (for me it's emacs) if we could
retrieve and delete events by uid. This would get us much lcoser to a 2-way
sync. Is there any plan for adding this capability?

This issue is related to the Google Calendar API, please file a feature request
against the API issue tracker:
  http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/list?q=label:API-Calendar

For other calendaring system, the Query class supports custom query parameters.
