Switch to golang native error wrapping #12

This removes the direct github.com/pkg/errors dependency while using the native golang error wrapping.

I'm working on testing all the recent changes on main with some of my other projects and then I'll reply back when this is in a new tagged release. I'm hoping to have that ready later today.
