Some participants lack good keyboard skills, which can inhibit progress. Suggest a touch typing course at the beginning of the materials.

I don't know which are the best choices unfortunately. The first Google hit is TypingClub. My thought would be to go with that as a placeholder and then I'm sure someone will chime in and point out something more appropriate or better. Maybe leave this issue open as an appropriate place to discuss.

I raised this issue as I've instructed and helped at workshops and noticed on occasion that some students do lack keyboard skills. I never mention this to the student as I think people can be self conscious about it. I think it can take just a few days to a week to learn touch tying and improve keyboard skills dramatically (rather than struggling for years with poor keyboard skills).
