This pull request updates _episodes/markdown.md to clarify what Markdown is (noted in issue #263).

@ebrown15 I'd really like to get your work merged into the lesson and close this PR. You mentioned on Slack that you intended to make another commit in response to the reviews above - would you like to add those changes here before I merge, or shall we go ahead as it is now?
