In 2021, the Executive Council established Executive Council Standing Committees, and evaluated these at their October meeting. It was decided to permanently establish the Standing Committees by adding them to the bylaws.

Just background information - there is a detailed description in the manual.

@konrad and @kariljordan discussed during the Executive Council retreat and we recommend moving the Executive Council Standing Committees text from the Executive Council Governance section of the handbook into the bylaws as Article 8. Article 9 would then be Committees and Task Forces.
