@YehorBoiar want to discuss/check. I think "баг" is a slang, we should avoid that. Any evidence that it's used in Ukrainian sources?

@olexandr-konovalov The word "баг" is a slang, but it is a slang in both languages, isn't it? I also heared the word "баг" from Ukrianian people more than the word "дефект" in the programming context.

and the definition for programming defect on Ukrainian wikipedia also use the word "баг" https://uk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B0%D0%B3

@YehorBoiar erm... it's ok, but maybe some textbooks and academic publications on software engineering to make this more convincing?

These are academic papers, so should be more confincing this time)

Thanks, let me think... Papers 1 and 3 by the same authors though, and they also use "помилка".

Also "керує повідомленими багами" does not sound right.

Let's return to this later.

@olexandr-konovalov Fair enough. I made further research, and I found out that the word "Дефект" appears much more often than the word "Баг" in Ukrainian papers, and that those papers have more citations which means that the are more reliable than those that I provided.

However, other translations used the word "bug". So, I'm not sure whether I should correct it or not
