What does this mean?

If you have source files that require output and figures to be generated (e.g. R Markdown), then it is important to make sure the generated figures and output are reproducible. This output provides a way for you to inspect the output in a diff-friendly manner so that it's easy to see the changes that occur due to new software versions or randomisation.

Thanks for the submission, @minyoungJYi . This change needs some further discussion within our community before implementing.

After discussion by both the trainers community and trainer leadership, the decision has been made to leave the example, but to provide some additional clarifications about this kind of belief. Details are in #1578. We're very grateful to @minyoungJYi for bringing this to our attention. This is moving from a PR to an issue in order to facilitate more discussion before proposing exact changes, consistent with the purpose of Git issues.

All are encouraged to contribute to issue #1578 if they wish to be part of the discussion of how to implement.
