A heads-up to @mkuzak (as you're working on #3) that I am suggesting here to use sections 1-3 of the F1000 course design guide as a reading task for this first session. If you're happy with that - and if you're planning to use that resource as reading material for the backward design episode - you might want to ask trainees to start from section 4.
