Updates to the Instructor Notes for Lessons #7

Hi Maintainers!

The instructor development committee is hoping to help instructors teaching new lessons by having a push to update the instructor notes. It was also suggested (at maintainer meeting) that we should host themed discussion session inviting instructors who have recently taught a lesson (or are prepping to teach that lesson) in order to collect more information to put into the instructor notes.

  1. Would you prefer this effort include all lessons or have the option to opt-in your lessons?
  2. Would you want to host/co-host a discussion session themed around your lesson and improving the instructor notes?
  3. Should we also encourage contributions to include transition your lesson to the instructor notes template?
  4. Should we ask trainers to suggest that the instructor notes might be a good checkout contribution?

Let me know if I missed any other important aspects!
